1. Introducing Your New Board of Directors
We are pleased to announce the composition of the Burnaby Velodrome Club’s new Board of Directors, as confirmed at the recent AGM. The Board is already hard at work planning an exciting and sustainable future for the club.

2. Call for Junior Program Coaches
We are looking to grow our Junior Program and are seeking dedicated coaches to help lead the way.
We are specifically calling for applications for a Lead Junior Coach who will be instrumental in developing the long-term vision and executing the Yearly Training Plan (YTP) alongside the Board.
We are also looking for additional junior coaches to support the existing Wednesday sessions and potential new Friday sessions.

3. Confirmed Race Weekends & Volunteer Opportunities

We have the following Sunday track times available and are looking for creative members to step up and organize training events or clinics:

If you have an idea—whether it’s a Sprint Clinic Day, a Time Trial (TT) Clinic, a Start Gate Clinic, or something completely creative—please reach out with your plan! We are ready to work with you to make it happen.

5. Important Notice: Membership Fee Adjustment
A notice of a membership increase was given at the AGM, but for those who missed it, the Board wants to ensure all members are aware of this necessary change:
The Burnaby Velodrome Club Board of Directors has voted to implement a membership fee increase of approximately 15%, effective October 24, 2025.
This is the first fee adjustment since 2022, despite rising costs and inflation over the past several years. The decision was made after careful consideration to ensure the Club remains financially sustainable and able to deliver the quality programs and facility our members expect.
The additional revenue will help us:
– Invest in programming to enhance the member experience and attract new riders.
– Support increased staffing costs to maintain professional, safe operations.
– Prepare for an anticipated lease increase as part of our ongoing facility partnership.
At the same time, the Board is taking steps to reduce operating costs, including a move to a new member management system that will streamline administration and improve member services.
We understand that any fee increase is significant, and we want to thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to the Burnaby Velodrome Club.Your membership keeps our track active, our programs growing, and our cycling community thriving.
