Learn to Ride

A fun way to learn how to ride our velodrome!

Learn to Ride is currently suspended due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Please follow our social media for updates.

Our Learn to Ride program is the first step to riding at the Burnaby Velodrome. This program introduces riders to the techniques and etiquette required to use our track.

Open to all ages and abilities.

We also offer a Try the Track session with the purchase of a General Membership. This coached session allows people to try the velodrome before committing to Learn to Ride.

All riders must complete Learn to Ride before participating in programming.

How to Register

  • Create an account/login to the Membership Portal.
  • Purchase a General Membership and Learn to Ride program
  • Book your session(s) from the Membership Portal.
    • Each session is capped at 20 riders

Please show up 15-20 minutes before the session starts to allow for orientation, bike sizing, etc.
