Ride to remember Mike McIntosh

It has been almost a year since the day one of our members, Mike McIntosh was killed while riding his bike in North Vancouver. His family and friends have put together a ride to honour his memory, and have shared information on this meetup.

On behalf of the Kickstand volunteers, I would like to invite you to join us for a bicycle group ride to honour the life of our friend and fellow volunteer, Mike McIntosh. Mike passed away on January 27th, 2019, doing one of the things he loved most; Riding his beloved Bike.

The meet up is at 11am, on Sunday January 26th at Kickstand Community Bike Shop‘s new location, 1187 Parker St. in East Vancouver.
We’ll be leaving at 12pm for a casual slower paced group ride to The Wheel Thing bikeshop, Where we will be meeting with Kim and some of Mike’s other friends & family that couldn’t make the ride to have refreshments before walking down to 132 Esplanade Street in North Vancouver; Where we hope to place a white bike (honouring folks who have passed away, while cycling).
