THE NEW US
It’s the velodrome’s 16th birthday and it’s time for some changes. You may have noticed our new logo on Instagram or Facebook. This is just one of the many changes to come at the Burnaby Velodrome Club this year. Many thanks to Jonathan Wood for his great design work! If you haven't already, don't forget to "Like" us on Facebook or follow us on Instagram andTwitter.
BVC SCHEDULES EXPLAINED
We are doing our best to keep the track as busy as possible while giving all of our user groups the opportunity to get their riding in ever week. To help clarify the goals of the different programs and time slots we have prepared a new schedules overview section. Please check it out and don't hesitate to speak with staff if you need more clarification about what is happening at the track and when it is happening.
As usual if you are riding at the track this year you must be a
registered user at the track, this includes annual members and drop in
riders. If you have a track user card and created an account last year
there is no need to re-register. Your track user card is for life.
If you don't already have an account and card, registering for one is
easy. Visit the track user login page and
create an account. Once registered you must pick up your registered
rider card at the track the next time you visit - speak to the track
attendant. If you do not have a card you will not be allowed to ride.
After registering you can also login and purchase memberships, ten
session punchcard and other goodies.
With the exception of Intro to Track participants, non BC resident
Canadians and non-Canadian citizen riders are required to have a valid
UCI license to ride or race at the Burnaby Velodrome. BC resident
Candians also have licensing requirements to ride and race at the
Velodrome, see our fees page for more information.
