BVC MEMBERSHIPS:

Announcing the new track user registration program for the 2011/2012 season.

If you are planning on riding at the track this year you must become a registered user with the track, this includes annual members and drop in riders. Registration is easy,
visit our registration page and create an account.

Annual members should login after creating their account and buy their membership as well.

Once you have registered with the BVC, you must pick up your registered rider card at the track.
Ask the track attendant the next time you visit for you card. If you don't have a card you will not be allowed to ride.

For drop in riders there will be a
$5 charge to buy the card, annual membership fees include the cost
of the card.


A REMINDER:

A reminder to all to continually check schedules and note changes.
Also note the date at the top of each schedule as that will indicate when the schedule was last changed.

Indoor Track Cycling at its best!

Located in the Greater Vancouver area of British Columbia, the Burnaby Velodrome is a 200m wooden cycling track located inside one of four of North America's indoor velodromes. The track is covered by an air-supported roof, allowing for year-round racing.


Junior Training & Racing Program
PRIZE PURSE FOR RACERS THIS FRIDAY, JAN 20th

This Friday January 20th the regular Friday night races will see a prize purse for all women racers, U-17 racers and U-19 racers courtesy of Superior Glass and Strada Cycles.

Superior Glass is a Port Coquitlam based custom residential and commercial glazier. They have been in business for 16 years with 40 employees. Superior Glass "Achieving extraordinary objectives while following unconventional paths".

Strada Cycles is Metro Vancouver's destination for premium road and track bicycles, accessories and apparel. Strada Cycles are committed to providing an unparalleled level of service and a range of products sure to satisfy the most discriminating of cyclists.

The top three women, U-19, and U-17 riders that accumulate the most points based on top five finish positions, regardless of the category they race in will be vying for prizes of $50, $30, and $20 for a total purse of $300.

LEARN TO RIDE
Put on by the BVC, Learn to Ride (LTR) is designed to introduce youth and adult cyclists of all abilities to riding the track.
